The opportunity

  • Residential parking spaces often remain unused while residents’ guests struggle to find convenient parking.
  • Parqlet needed a simple sharing solution that gave owners control over availability while matching guests with suitable spaces, including EV charging.

Our approach

  • Designed and developed an iOS app with a credit-based model, allowing residents to earn credits by sharing spaces and use them for guest parking.
  • Built flexible availability controls and vehicle-based matching, including EV requirements.
  • Added favorite guests and a request system for cases when no suitable space is available.
  • Delivered the full product lifecycle, from UX/UI and architecture to mobile/backend development and App Store release.

  • Turned idle parking capacity into a shared community resource without direct payments between neighbors.
  • Simplified listing, matching, and booking while keeping parking owners in control.
  • Delivered a production-ready iOS product with a 5.0 early user rating.
