Account Manager
We are Data Science UA, and we are a fast-growing IT service company. We are proud of developing the Data Science community in Ukraine for more than 6 years. Data Science UA unites all researchers, engineers, and developers around Data Science and related areas. We conduct events on machine learning, computer vision, intelligence, information science, and the use of artificial intelligence for business in various fields.
We are looking for an Account Manager to join us as a competent professional, being a coordinator and a point of contact for our clients and the developers’ team. You will help us to jump to the next level of our transformation providing a high level of delivery for our clients, administrative support for our board members, and taking part in post-sale activities. You’ll build all PMO processes and artifacts. It won’t be easy, but definitely very dynamic and interesting. You have a chance to join a fast-growing IT company and grow with us.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of project management/account management experience in IT field.
- Advanced level of English.
- Hands-on experience in project planning, successful delivery, requirements and risk management.
- Client-focused solutions experience.
- Communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Excellent listening skills and ability to understand and interpret customer needs and handle their expectations.
- Experience in working with service agreements/NDAs/etc.
- Understanding of the IT market, IT specializations, SDLC, Agile methodologies, task management tools (like Jira, Asana, etc.) — you won`t work closely with engineers but you need to be with our clients on the same page.
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (EE, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering).
- Experience in defining projects, collecting requirements, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets.

Responsibilities:
- Communication with project teams, teams performance monitoring.
- Setup and maintain PMO processes to track the state of all projects.
- Building and maintaining trust partnerships with clients, excellent communication to achieve win-win relationship.
- Effective presentation skills: the ability to conduct a call, ask the right questions, listen to the client, present the company and the team.
- Finding out the details of the project, such as “scope”, requirements, expectations, deadlines, budget, etc.
- Follow-up (writing letters after meetings), informing the client about the status of the project, etc.
- Working with customer satisfaction — receive regular feedback, improve the quality and client “happiness”.
- Reporting project progress/status to company management and internal stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Driving and support continuous project’s improvement.
- Managing project risks.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve customer service.
- Taking part in pre-sale activities.
