About the client and role:
We are looking for a Client Success Manager / Client Partner to join our client’s team. They are a progressive technology company focused on helping businesses reinvent themselves, adapt, and grow in the age of AI. They build and scale digital and AI solutions that help companies stay competitive in rapidly changing markets.
This is a role with real scope from day one. You will inherit an active portfolio, build the system that makes account health visible and predictable, and create the expansion pipeline that drives the next stage of growth. What you build here will be visible quickly.
Responsibilities:
– Account Ownership: Act as the dedicated owner and primary point of contact for the assigned client portfolio, ensuring full accountability and clear internal and external visibility into all account activities.
– Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and proactively maintain strong, long-term relationships at the VP and C-levels; map out decision-makers and proactively expand the company’s presence across client organizations.
– Retention & Risk Mitigation: Monitor account health to identify churn risks 60+ days before contract renewals, develop effective mitigation plans, and escalate potential issues to leadership before they impact the client.
– Business Discovery & Client Advisory: Act as a trusted strategic advisor by thoroughly understanding clients’ business models, strategic priorities, and organizational pressures; facilitate executive-level conversations regarding their 6–12 month roadmaps.
– Pipeline Generation: Proactively identify gaps between clients’ current setups and future goals, surface opportunities for expanded collaboration, and bring these leads to the Solutions team for proposal development.
– Account Expansion & Growth: Drive upsell and cross-sell initiatives as a natural outcome of deep client discovery, collaborating closely with the Solutions team to design proposals and close expansion deals.
– Account Health & Governance: Establish and maintain comprehensive account plans, stakeholder maps, health scores, and regular QBR (Quarterly Business Review) cadences to ensure predictable and visible account management.
– Internal Voice of the Client: Represent clients’ strategic interests internally, collaborating with Delivery, Solutions, and Recruitment teams on key decisions, and surfacing portfolio-wide patterns to help improve the company’s services.
Requirements:
– 5+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, or Delivery Management in a technology services or IT outsourcing context.
– Named retention wins: at least two accounts you held back from churn, with a specific story about what you did and what the outcome was.
– Portfolio ownership: you have managed 5+ accounts simultaneously, including at least one account with 10+ people on it.
– Commercial fluency: you have had contract, billing, and renewal conversations directly with clients. You understand pricing models, margins, and what a healthy vs unhealthy commercial relationship looks like.
– Delivery fluency: you are accountable for client outcomes, not delivery execution. But you need enough technical context to hold a credible conversation with a CTO, understand what a blocked engineer means for a timeline, and know when a delivery issue is also a relationship risk without needing a PM to translate for you.
Nice-To-Have:
– Multi-geography client experience: EU + UK, or EU + US, with different procurement styles
– Has run QBRs at VP or C-level with a business impact framing, not status updates
– Technical background: ex-developer, BA, or QA who moved into CS or AM
– AI-native: you use AI tools as part of your actual workflow. You can describe something you built or automated in the last 6 months.
What the client offers:
– You’ll work with a supportive and spirited team of professionals
– Corporate events, holidays, and team buildings for your joy
– Training and development: we have a budget for your professional development
– Sport or massage compensation according to the general policy
– Compensation for psychological support or medical insurance compensation according to the general policy
– People-oriented management without bureaucracy
– Paid vacation and sick leaves
