About the client:
Our client specializes in inventory optimization for industrial and manufacturing companies, helping them streamline inventory and optimize working capital. Their browser-based platform, hosted on Azure, is designed to manage and refine inventory processes, enabling companies to buy only what they need and proactively manage stock.

About role:
We are looking for a talented Data Engineer/Data Science who will join the team.

Requirements:
– Minimum 3 years of practical experience in data science.
– Minimum 2 past projects in optimization.
– Strong understanding of both deterministic and machine learning algorithms.
– Proficiency in working with relational data.
– Experience in writing, debugging, and optimizing model prototypes for both deterministic and stochastic approaches.
– Solid experience with data processing and cleaning.
– Experience working with frameworks: Advanced Python Skills, specifically in Pandas, SQL, and PyTorch.
– Familiarity with collaborative workflows, including Git and code reviews.
– Strong communication skills in English (B2+).

Nice to have:
– Proficiency in GenAI Expertise, Vector Databases, and chaining LLMs.

Responsibilities:
– Develop a specific algorithmic optimization prototype for inventory operations.
– AI Algorithm Development: Research, design, build, deploy, and validate the optimization algorithm for inventory operations.
– Data Processing: Implement data processing crucial to the core logic.
– Analysis: Analyze data that depicts the use cases to get a full picture of the context and impact the prototype can have.
– Utilize statistical and visualization tools to summarize and communicate findings effectively.
