About the role and client:
We are looking for a Senior ML Research Engineer for a hands-on role designed for someone who can invent, implement, and ship. You’ll work on the core 3D human modeling and computer vision pipeline, deliver production-ready models, and lead technical execution with a high bar for quality, rigor, and performance.
Requirements:
– 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering CV/ML projects from concept through production.
– Strong expertise in 3D computer vision and computational geometry.
– Strong understanding of the mathematical foundations of ML and numerical optimization.
– Experience with data structures, data modeling, and software architecture for ML systems.
– Experience designing validation/evaluation for ML accuracy and reliability (metrics, benchmarks, regression testing).
– Strong programming in Python; experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow and common scientific computing packages.
– Strong experimentation discipline: reproducible workflows, clear documentation, and ability to diagnose/fix failures.
– Fluent English (spoken and written) for clear communication in a distributed team.
– Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and improve our body reconstruction pipeline, adding capabilities and improving accuracy and robustness.
– Architect and maintain a framework to validate predicted measurements, sizes, and 3D avatars (quality checks, benchmarks, monitoring).
– Identify and prioritize projects that measurably improve accuracy and reliability, focusing effort where impact is highest.
– Maintain the integrity of ML pipeline testing, ensure data quality, and prevent regressions.
What the client offers:
– Join a high-performing team and ship production AI/3D work with real customer impact.
– Eligibility for the Stock Option Program after 6 months (based on performance/impact).
– 4 weeks (20 working days) of paid vacation annually.
