Reinforcement learning is a type of machine learning that resembles the way humans learn through trial and error. The core idea is surviving. Reinforcement learning is used when the problem is not directly related to data, but there is a constantly changing environment to live in. The model has to analyze the conditions around the agent and make appropriate decisions.

Robotics usually requires reinforcement learning, as robots are typically trained to act according to the situation rather than perform a predetermined task.
