About the client:
Our client is the largest international investor in the renewable energy sector in Ukraine to become a strong international player in the renewable industry. After just several years from its establishment in 2018, the company owns and operates one of the largest RES portfolios in Ukraine (636 MW) and expanding its presence in the Ukrainian market.

The company is the subsidiary of VR Capital Group, which manages c. $5.5 billion of assets, with a focus on emerging markets and event-driven/special situations investing.

About role:
We are seeking an FP&A SPECIALIST who will join the team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A or related roles, preferably in the Energy industry.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting techniques.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and BI tools.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborative team player who can work effectively across departments.
• Adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Developing financial models and providing financial forecasts, analyzing different scenarios and their potential impact on the organization’s financials.
• Developing KPIs and metrics to track the organization’s performance.
• Performing market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation computations.
• Communicating with partners, industry players, and contractors for in-depth industry knowledge and throughout project assessment.
• Analyzing past results, performing variance analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement.
• Preparation of presentations for the board and other strategic materials, memorandums, and teasers.
• Being a business partner for the Development Unit in the analysis of different investment opportunities, financial support, and identifying key project risks and parameters.
• Increasing productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
• Preparing regular business valuation.
• Participating in investment and credit process, presenting projects to potential lenders.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial planning software and tools.
• Stay updated on best practices in FP&A and contribute to the continuous improvement of the finance function.
